Personal performance - all terrain skiing
Bumps + off piste + Steeps = All terrain.
All skiers use 3 elements to make a turn - pressure, edge and rotation. Most skiers do not vary the amount that they use of each. Skilled skiers do!
Freeride skiers use pressure control when skiing off-piste or slush. Bumps specialists ski with an emphasis on leg rotation. Downhill racers focus on an edging technique.
Learning to ski with an emphasis on each element will enable you to ski all types of terrain and snow conditions.
During the course you will develop and enhance each skill (edge, pressure and rotation) in an achievable environment on the piste. Once mastered, these new skills will be put to the test in the situations where you will need them.
Rotation: steeps, bumps and ice. Pressure: Off-piste and slush. Edge: high speed on a smooth groomed piste
