Instructor Training - BASI preparation courses

Ski Focus are running specifically designed courses to prepare your teaching and technical skills towards the levels required for the BASI Level 1 and/or Level 4 assessments.

Each course is run by a BASI Level 4 ISTD/Trainer, experienced in providing assessments for BASI. Your trainer is therefore ideally suited to understanding and recognising the levels required to satisfy the criteria set by BASI to pass the assessments.

You will leave these courses with an action plan and be advised of which aspects you need to work on, along with a guide on how much further practice/training is required before you should consider taking your assessment.

UK Courses – ideal for aspirant BASI Level 1, 2 and 3's

During the months of May through till October we run BASI preparation days at two indoor snow facilities, Hemel Hempstead Snow Centre and Sno!Zone Milton Keynes.

What is included:
5 hours coaching per day with a BASI Level 4 ISTD, Tutor/Trainer
Ski pass and equipment hire
Video analysis
Action plans

Alpine courses – perfect for Potential BASI Level 1, 2, 3 & 4 candidates

Through out the year we run 5 to 6 day courses in differing durations from 3 to 6 hours per day. These courses are held in Tignes, France.

What is included:
3 – 6hrs tuition per day

Alpine Ski School Experience

Ski school experience is available during the winter period with our partner Ski School "British Alpine Ski School" in Tignes and Val D I'Sere in France. Contact info@skifocus.co.uk for further details.
