Golf

Tignes boasts the highest 18 hole golf course in Europe which winds its way around the picturesque lake. A great option is to buy a ski/golf ticket which allows you to ski in the morning and play golf in the afternoon. It is possible to hire clubs at the club house and it's possible to play 9 holes or the full 18. There is also a Golf Clinic available for beginners or those who want to improve. The clinic starts from €199/person and the price includes special introductory golf coaching clinic for 5 days (5 x 1 hr 45 instruction), end-of-clinic competition and one meal in the clubhouse at the fantastic Golf Restaurant. Throughout the summer there are a number of golfing events held, and every Sunday there are various competitions held. Every Thursday there is the opportunity to review your handicap in the ranking competition. And once a year there is a Pro-Am Golf & Ski Tournament as well as the Savoie Championship, Team event and French Ski Instructors' Championship.
